Akela has arrived...

On March 30-31 we went to Italy to pick-up our new princess: Ayuka's Great Akela
We would like to thanks Antonio and his friends for his great hospitality.
Also a big thanks to Johanna, Antonio & Pierangelo for taking such good care of her until now!

CAC-CACIB Luxembourg, March 09

On Sunday March 29 we attended the famous show in Luxembourg (LU) - http://www.uchl.lu/
We first handle Alaskan Malamute, DongaMyJoy Of Keema's Wolf Pak under the judgement of Mr. Paul Baelen (BE)...

• Donga (Owner = Anita Muspach + Gawasja's Spirit kennel): 1 exc. CAC - CACIB - BOS

With this great result Donga is now Luxembourg Champion, International Champion + Crufts qualified 2010!!!

Then we went in the ring with the Siberian Huskies under the judgement of Mrs. Martha Heine (DE). 54 huskies were entered...

• CH. Tundrafoot's Bern Baby Bern "Dysco"(Owner = Nancy Daponte): 1 exc. CAC - CACIB - BOB!!!!
• Ayuka's Chanel Essence (Owner = Ayuka's kennel): 2 exc. RCAC

CAC Wieze 09

On March 21-22 we attended the CAC show in Wieze (BE): http://www.kvn-aalst.be/
On Saturday the Alaskan Malamutes and the Siberian Huskies were judged by Mr. Machetanz P. (D) .
We were proud to handle:

• Chinanook's Hutah (owner = Françoise & Eric Burette): 1 VP - Best Puppy in Breed
• Ayuka's Chanel Essence (owner = Ayuka's kennel): 1 exc. RCAC

CAC-CACIB Leiden 09

On Saturday March 14 we attended the International show in Leiden (http://www.kvrijnland.nl/)
I was very proud to handle the Alaskan Malamute, Ch. DongaMyJoy Of Keema's Wolf Pak again. Donga is owned by my mentor (Anita Muspach) and Gawasja Spirit's kennel.
Under the judgement of Mr. Auguste De Wilde she finished 1 exc. CAC - CACIB - BOS
I was also very proud to handle the Siberian Husky, Ayuka's Chanel Essence, owned by Ayuka's kennel. The Siberian huskies were judged by Mr. Jipping.
This time we only finished 2nd exc. Next one...

Ayuka's Great Akela

On December 28th 2008 a little princess was born @ Ayuka's kennel.
This beautiful Siberian husky female puppy is called Ayuka's Great Akela.
And she will be loved by us in co-ownership with Antonio Pagano & Pierangelo Masellis.
Akela will arrive very soon in Belgium...

Nice walk w/ Hutah

We recently enjoyed a nice walk with Hailey and her brother, Hutah.
We were very pleased to see how Hutah is growing into an handsome boy :)

On Saturday we were very proud to handle the Australian Shepperd of our new friends, Arnold & Martine, GJ Jane de la GadailLe "TinkerBell".
Under the judgement of Mrs. Rita Reyniers TinkerBell finished 1st. CAC - CACIB - BOS.

On Sunday we attended the same show with the Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky judged by Mr. Forte Michael:

Rheinlandsiegerschau 2009 (DE)

On Saturday Feb 14 we attended the CAC dog show in Rheinberg ( http://www.rheinlandsieger.de/)
Here are our results under the judgement of Mr. Christen Lang from Norway:

• Chefornak's Diddlina: 1 exc. in champion class - CAC - BOB
  

Chinanook's HappyJack

We would like to thanks Inge & Kurt who came to visit us last week-end in Rodt @ the race.
We were very happy to see that Jack is becoming a nice boy. Also as the race didn't go through on Sunday Yekona could enjoyed a walk with her 2 kids: Hailey & Jack. Then they also played like crazy and we were able to take nice pictures of them.
A big thanks to Marjolein for all the pictures :)

Race St Vith 2009

On Feb 7-8 2009 we attended the famous mushing Race in Rodt, St-Vith (BE). This race is always well organized by the friendly Snow Hook Team: http://www.snowhookteam.be/
Unfortunately this year we were very lucky with the weather conditions. Not enough snow to run with the sled. And a very humid weather on Saturday. The trail was a bit dangerous and the organization decided to cancel the category bike.
So Gwen's decided to run with 4 dogs (Coco, Ethna, Yekona & Charko) as well... We are proud of them as they did a good time even if Ethna and Coco who were leading aren't really great with directions ;) However it was Coco first race and she was great member of the team.
Gijs also participated with his 4 Alaskan malamutes and finished 3rd in the category C2.
During the night from Saturday to Sunday the temperature dropped down and the next morning the trail was even more dangarous. So the organization decided to cancel the race.
And we still enjoyed a nice Sunday in Rodt :)

Obedience Test A

We are proud to announce that on February 5 2009 Chinanook's Hailey succeeded her Obedience Test A with almost 90%. At not even 7 months Hailey is a little star at Dog shows but also a very obedient Alaskan Malamute !!!

Hoshi came to visit us...

This last Sunday we were very happy to see Hoshi again. Hailey could play again like crazy with her sister. Yeko was still the boss and her puppies have a lot of respect for her.
